Amboli Hill Station
Called the Mahabaleshwar of Kokan — heavy monsoon rains, tall waterfalls, cool breezes, and rich flora and fauna. A green escape in the hills.
Forts
- Devgad Fort — Spread over 120 acres on a natural harbour. Ganesh temple, lighthouse, sea views. Once surrounded by water on all sides.
- Janjira (Murud) Fort — One of India's strongest marine forts, standing 2 km from the shore.
- Ramgad Fort — From Shivaji's era. A Koli-built wooden structure with seven inverted cannons — history you can still walk through.
